[DON'T] Kiss Your Friends
A downloadable game
[DON'T] Kiss Your Friends is a two-player lyric game about the excitement and joy that's found in boundaries and yearning. It is also a zine-poem taking the trappings of the roleplaying game to describe a very specific type of friendship I have with someone. It is also a collection of public domain art.
One of the files is meant to be printable as a zine, where one double-sided printed page is transformed into an eight-page zine. This layout was provided by Matthew Gravelyn, and found here.
All of the art within the zine is public domain, and was found on a variety of websites (all of which are listed in this article). If asked I can provide sources for every piece of art used in this zine,
Conditions of Creation:
[DON'T] Kiss your Friends was written and designed on both a laptop and a desktop computer, using Google Docs and Paint.NET. It was completed in the author's spare time while in graduate school. The game was completed on the ancestral unceded lands of the Lummi and Nooksack peoples, of which stewardship has not been returned.
